Coach House Restaurant
Recently, my friends Susan and Firyal, and I planned a full day of eating for our meet up. We really wanted chicken and waffles but had time to hit up a brunch place before we did. We opted for Coach House, an old school style diner.
When you first walk in, the place looks small. But, immediately we were told that there’s room available in the back. The back room is mainly for parties of 4 or more. I believe there were about 7 tables in the back. Not a lot of seating, but there was no wait time for my friends and I when we arrived around 12:45pm.
The menu had a wide selection of items. There was All-Day breakfast, sandwiches, and even entrees.
Susan and Firyal both ordered omelettes. I decided on the Coach Super Breakfast. It consisted of 3 eggs, 3 strips of bacon, 1 slice of ham, 2 sausages, 2 slices of toast, and your choice of homefries, a waffle, or a pancake. I opted for the homefries.
Everything was delicious. The bacon was okay because not a fan of bacon (gasp!). It was crispy though. As shown in the photo, the homefries are not actually fries but thin slices of potato. They were still tasty! At first glance, the meal doesn’t look that big. but it filled me up quite a lot.
Would I return to this place? Yes! I love old school diners. They have this atmosphere that’s friendly and warming. This is one spot that’s great for brunch/lunch meetings or grabbing bites with family and friends. Also, this place is inexpensive. My meal was a little over $11 with taxes. Inexpensive and great tasting meals are always a great combo 🙂
If you ever are around the Wellesley Station area and need a place to eat, this is one that you won’t be disappointed with!
